Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is the oldest and still the most widely used system of medicine in the world today. It is medicine made exclusively from plants. It is used in all societies and is common to all cultures.
There are many different “types” of herbal medicine that spring from different cultures around the world. All these have the use of medicinal plants in common, but they vary in the plants they use, the way they prepare and use medicines from these plants, and the philosophy of their treatment approaches. Different cultures may also use the same plants but differ in how it is used, or the part they use.

Nutritional Medicine
Nutritional medicine employs the principle that nutrition plays an important role in virtually every medical condition.

Sports Nutrition
Sports nutrition is the study and practice of nutrition and diet as it relates to athletic performance. It is concerned with the type and quantity of fluid and food taken by an athlete, and deals with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, supplements and organic substances such as carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Although an important part of many sports training regimens, it is most commonly considered in strength sports (such as weight lifting and bodybuilding) and endurance sports (for example cycling, running, swimming).
Naturopathy
Nathan Forbes – Naturopath – serving the Campbelltown Camden Narellan Smeaton Grange Gledswood Hills Area. Nathan focuses on Naturopathy, or naturopathic medicine, which is a system of medicine based on the healing power of nature. Naturopathy is a holistic system, meaning that naturopathic doctors (N.D.s) strive to find the cause of disease by understanding the body, mind, and spirit of the person. Most naturopath’s use a variety of therapies and techniques (such as nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and acupuncture).
There are two areas of focus in naturopathy: one is supporting the body’s own healing abilities, and the other is empowering people to make lifestyle changes necessary for the best possible health. While naturopathic doctors treat both short bouts of illness and chronic conditions, their emphasis is on preventing disease and educating patients.

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)
NET is a mind-body technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress. NET is a tool that can help improve many behavioral and physical conditions.
What Can NET Treat?
NET Practitioners are nearly unlimited in their ability to address the physical and behavioral stress-related conditions of their patients. These conditions include headaches, body pains, phobias, general anxiety, self-sabotaging behaviors, organ dysfunctions and so much more. It’s important to note that NET does not cure or heal the patient, but rather, NET removes blocks to the natural vitalism of the body, “allowing” the body to repair itself naturally.

Neurological Integration System (NIS)
Neurological Integration System (NIS) has EVERYTHING to do with the BRAIN, and NOTHING to do with the MIND.
All the principles behind this system of treatment are based on neuroscience. We all know that the brain controls optimum function of the body through its neurological circuitry. It is constantly receiving information from every facet of the body, and in turn sends back ‘fine tuning’ messages, many times per second. From time to time circuits break down (similar to a fuse blowing in your home) – power is now lost to that circuit – which in turn reduces function. This is brought about when certain stresses to the body exceed our individual tolerances. These stresses can be physical, pathological, neurological or emotional.
Practitioners using NIS evaluate the body’s function from a neurophysiological point of view. This makes the NIS method very accurate in determining the CAUSE of complaints.
