Naturopath · Gledswood Hills
Naturopath in Gledswood Hills, serving Campbelltown and the Macarthur region
Nathan Forbes provides gentle, evidence-informed naturopathic care for babies, children, women and the whole family, combining naturopathy, clinical nutrition and herbal medicine with more than twenty years in practice.
The clinic is in Gledswood Hills, a short drive from Campbelltown, Camden, Narellan and Gregory Hills. Consultations focus on the underlying nutritional, digestive and lifestyle factors behind how you feel — then on building changes that fit realistically into a busy household.

Meet your naturopath
Hi, I’m Nathan Forbes
I’ve been practising naturopathy in the Macarthur region for over twenty years. Most of the people I see have been feeling off for a long time and haven’t had a clear answer about why.
My job is to take a proper history, work out what’s likely contributing, and build a plan you can actually follow — not hand you a bag of supplements and send you on your way.
- Diploma of Naturopathy 2003
- Member, Complementary Medicine Association
- Certified NET practitioner
- Certified NIS practitioner

Before you book
Children with additional needs
Many of the children who come to the clinic have been diagnosed with autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or developmental delay by a doctor, paediatrician or psychologist. Those families are very welcome here, and Nathan has seen a great many of them over twenty years of practice.
It is worth being plain about what an appointment is. Naturopathy does not treat, change, reverse or cure autism, ADHD or developmental delay, and a consultation here is not a substitute for the care your child already receives. What an appointment covers is everyday ground-level health that any child may need help with — feeding difficulties, a very limited range of foods, constipation and broken sleep.
Nathan works alongside your paediatrician, GP and wider support team — never instead of them — and will refer on where something falls outside naturopathic practice. He will not advise you to stop, reduce or change any medication your child has been prescribed. If you’re not sure whether an appointment would be useful, call the clinic and ask before you book.
Adults living with stress and anxiety
Many adults come to the clinic under sustained stress or anxiety and feeling depleted — sleeping poorly, eating on the run, relying on caffeine to get through the week. Nathan brings more than twenty years of clinical practice to these consultations, beginning with a thorough case history taken at an unhurried pace. The focus is the physical foundations underneath: sleep quality, meal patterns and blood sugar, digestion, caffeine and alcohol intake, and nutritional status.
Naturopathy does not treat, diagnose or cure anxiety, depression or any other mental health condition, and Nathan works alongside your GP or psychologist rather than in place of them. He will refer on where something falls outside naturopathic practice, and will not advise you to alter any prescribed medication.
The approach
A whole-family approach to lasting wellbeing
Health is interconnected within a family — supporting one member very often benefits the entire household. Rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol, every consultation is tailored to the individual, taking into account health history, lifestyle and personal goals.
Areas of support
- Digestive health for children and adults
- Immune system support and frequent colds
- Nutritional deficiencies and diet optimisation
- Energy and fatigue
- Women’s hormonal health
- Preconception, pregnancy and postpartum
- Stress and lifestyle balance
- Skin health
- General wellbeing and preventative care
Complementary care
Nathan works alongside your GP, midwife or specialist, not around them.

Common questions
Before you book
What are Nathan’s qualifications?
Nathan received his Diploma of Naturopathy in October 2003 from the College of Somatic Studies, and has been in practice for over twenty years.
He is also a certified NET (Neuro Emotional Technique) and NIS (Neurological Integration System) practitioner.
Nathan is a full member of the Complementary Medicine Association (CMA), which sets professional standards and a code of conduct for its members.
What do I need to do before my first appointment?
You’ll be sent a Wellness Check Questionnaire when you book. Please complete it and email it back to nathan@naturesconcepts.com.au before you come in.
It matters more than it might sound. The questionnaire is what lets Nathan structure the appointment around you rather than spending the first twenty minutes gathering basics, so please don’t arrive without having sent it.
If you can, also bring any recent pathology results and a list of the medications and supplements you’re currently taking.
Can I see Nathan by telehealth?
Yes. Naturopathic consultations can be done by video or phone, at the same fees and appointment lengths as coming into the clinic. Choose the telehealth option when you book and you’ll be sent the details beforehand.
NET appointments involve hands-on muscle testing, so those need to be in person.
Telehealth suits follow-ups particularly well, and it’s worth considering if you’re outside the Macarthur area or getting to Gledswood Hills isn’t practical. Any herbal or nutritional formulas Nathan dispenses can be posted to you.
Do you see babies and young children?
Yes. Nathan sees babies, children and teenagers, including those who have been diagnosed with autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or developmental delay by a doctor, paediatrician or psychologist. Those babies, children, teenagers and families are welcome here. Naturopathic care doesn’t treat, change or cure these diagnoses — Nathan’s role is to support general wellbeing alongside your child’s paediatrician, psychologist or specialist, not instead of them. With that in mind, he provides care adapted to each stage: feeding and settling for infants, and immunity, fussy eating, skin and sleep as children get older.
